Victorian Drinking Water…

A Victorian Town Water Pump

A Victorian Town and Village Water Pump

Robert Morey continues his travels, and this time makes a visit to Stockwood Park in Luton. This type of Victorian Water Pump would have stood in the middle of the road in many towns and villages around 1895, and provided the local inhabitants with cool fresh Water. A cup on a chain would also offer sustenance to the passing traveler.
